This is an action packed class IV run that isn't on everyones radar. Fall, winter, and spring rains may keep this stretch flowing but 1 or 2 late summer releases bring paddling from around Oregon and Northern California.

This can be run has a 1.4 mile stretch or 3.4 mile stretch if you paddle all of the way down to the Lost Creek Reservoir. I strongly suggest checking out the late summer release days as there is a free shuttle from the Power House thats runs all day.

Trip Highlights

Mile 0: After a long hike down to the river there are a couple options of where you get in the river. Once down near the river hike upstream for a few extra steep boulder drop rapids. Just down from Mill Creek Falls is a nice pool to start you day paddling from.
