The Klickitat River has a few options with runs that will keep you on the water all day or for just a few hours. Put-in at the Salmon Hatchery makes for a wonderful class II-III, 10.7 mile run. With fast moving water it makes for good practice on continuous rivers. There are a few eddies to hang out in and gather your group but they are small and will send you down stream easily.
Wood is common on this run, so you'll want to be a solid Class III paddler and pay attention.
