Questions that Zach covered in the Q&A section of this episode

Topic: Comparing Rescue PFDs

Can you do a gear garage on your suite of rescue pfds? I have an astral 300R that is just about at the end of its life and I am not a fan of the green. I am leaning towards a hustleR or a Palm vest for my next, but before I go through the effort of chasing down a palm, I would like to hear your 2 cents.

Topic: Makita Adaptors

I mostly kayak but a few years ago I purchased a Star Slice and I really get great value from your videos as a newbie, and permanently newbie, raft owner as I do not get to use the Slice very often. A few years ago I purchased one of the WWTC throw bags and I love it; it is far superior to the other products on the market and all of my friends agree. I just watched your Makita blower video and it made me think of a time where I did a side-by-side "race" with one of the car-battery powered blowers and the Makita blower was 4x faster and although loud the noise level was not like the Dentist Office high-pitched noise of the other. I have the older DUB182 style. In case it helps your Merch decisions, if the price were lower I would probably buy one. Not being critical; I heard you say that they are 3D printed one at a time so that may be the correct price point for you. have a nice day

Topic: New Astral Bowen PFD

I have been recently looking into buying the Astral Bluejacket. Today when I went on their website I saw that they replaced the Bluejacket with the Bowen. It looks like the Bluejacket with a different colorway and some new minor features. Would you recommend buying the older model for less or paying more for the newer model? Thanks, Zach!
