WA State Private Boater Legislation

Greetings,

Currently there is a bill working its way through WA congress (SB 5597) which would establish a requirement for private boaters to take a boater’s safety course and pay $10 for a ‘boater’s license’. Thomas O’Keefe has written about it pretty extensively at AW but I was hoping to bring this up for further discussion and see how you and your listeners might feel about it.
